The version number water maker on the desktop bottom right corner is gone on this release (15042).

In the previous practice, it will happen on insider build when the build for production (Current Branch) is close to release.

If you receive a error message (0x80080008) like the following, just reboot your phone and run the update again

How to delete and format a protected EFI disk partition on USB thumb drive

When you try to remove the partition on USB thumb drive which is protected EFI disk partition, you will receive a error "Access is denied"

(Remark: You cannot not use Windows format tools to format the USB thumb drive too)

 

Solution:

Use "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool" to format the USB thumb drive

Then, use "Diskpart" to clean the disk.

 

It will become a normal USB thumb drive now.

4. You will receive a program like the following, just install it. (Remark: I receive a error message on my 15031 build machine, just ignore it and continuous the installation, it will running well)

5. After the installation complete, open the program and it will ask for your login (The account which is you create for signup and download the software)

6. After your login, it will take few minutes to run the program and also make connection like the following:

7. When the program start to work, you will see the screen like the following and also it take me around 2x% CPU only:

Windows 10 Build 15025 ISO released - All 32bits insider able to download and upgrade their build to join Windows Insider Creators Update February Bug Bash

Windows 10 Insider Preview (Creators Update) Build 15025 for PC (64bits OS only) and Mobile released on Fast Ring (For PC: It takes time or effort to upgrade)

I have upgrade successfully from 15014 to 15025 after 1 day on Lenovo W510 laptop

For the other testing machine X220, I fresh install the build 15002 on it, but I still need to do the following steps to upgrade successfully

 

1. Change the service "Delivery Optimization" startup type to disable

      2. Reboot

      3. Run the batch file (Windows Update Reset Script) download from http://windowsreport.com/windows-update-problems-fix-windows-update-reset-script/

      4.  Upgrade successfully

For the Windows 10 Insider Preview 15025 for mobile, I able to upgrade my Nokia Lumia 636 form 15014 to 15025:

 

I still waiting for the 15025 32bits ISO release for upgrade my Chuwi Vi8 plus tablet since it cannot upgrade via Windows update for this build release.
