HP Controller P420i (embedded) hardware error (Update)

The server BSOD and reboot unexpectedly, after the server power on, the following error have been occur:
A controller failure event occurred prior to this power-up. (Previous lock up code = 0x13)

The problem is hardware failure, the P420i RAID controller Flash Based Write Cache (FBWC) memory module need to replace:

Solution:
Replace the fault P420i controller - 2GB Flash Based Write Cache (FBWC) memory module.

  1. But you showed here is the HP Flash Based Write Cache (FBWC)! the controller is embedded. So you solution is to replace the HP Flash Based Write Cache (FBWC)helped? Pls advise.

  2. the HP Flash Based Write Cache (FBWC) is the cause or the controller? As I am seeing is the the HP Flash Based Write Cache (FBWC) which is a card, so replace the the HP Flash Based Write Cache (FBWC) would help to resolve the problem you have?

    1. Sorry for my misleading description before. It is FBWC memory card, we reply this memory module, and the problem fixed.
