AIX how to check and unlock account

AIX check user account status

Enter the following command:

• Lsuser “login name”

Check the value of “unsuccessfully login = x” If x > 10 (The lockout value), account locked

To unlock the user account:

Enter the following command:

• Smit user

select - Reset User's Failed Login count

Enter <user name>
