Rebuilding User Profiles in Windows 7

1. Login as administrator
2. Rename the user profile under c:\users\
3. Go to the following registry and delete the correct key base on ProfileImagePath.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

4. Restart your system
5. Login again by using the user account which is you want to rebuild.

IntegraTUM WebDisk

IntegraTUM WebDisk is a free web application which gives you direct access to a file server. It is written using Java Servlets and the jCIFS library. Supported file servers are Samba, MS Windows and NetApp OnTAP and those based on the CIFS-protocol.
IntegraTUM WebDisk is Free Software, released under the GNU GPLv2 License.

Note: The WebDisk is a standalone project and is not related to the Simple Groupware project.

Note: The WebDisk has no own user or group database. The authentication is done directly over the CIFS server.

Windows 7 - set a default wallpaper to all user

1. Copy the customaries wallpaper to C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\Windows

2. Rename the current one (Windows default Wallpaper) “img0.jpg” to “img0.old”

3. Rename the customaries wallpaper to “img0.jpg”

Check OS 32bits and 64bits as a condition to run part of a batch or script

Using Hardware Vendor Customaries Edition VMware ESXi

If you install a VMware ESXi to a DELL or HP Server, you should consider to use the hardware vendor customaries edition for better performance and stability.

For the VMware ISO file, you may download from DELL or HP website.

Please go to Dell support website (http://support.dell.com)

1. Select "Support for Enterprise IT"
2. Go to "Drivers and Downloads"
3. "Enter Service tag" or select "Choose from a list of all Dell products" option
4. Select "Servers, Storage, & Networking" option
5. Select "PowerEdge"
6. Select the system as per your configuration
7. Once the system is selected
8. Select the "Operating System" as ESXi 4.x or ESXi 5.0 as per your requirement
9. Click "Enterprise Solutions" sub tab and The ISO image is listed there
