http://www.bullogger.com/blogs/williamlong/archives/359639.aspx

For Chrome

  1. Click the wrench icon !cid_image001_gif@01CBA523 on the browser toolbar. Mac users: If you don't see the wrench icon, go to the menu bar at the top of your screen and click Chrome.
  2. Select Options (Preferences on a Mac; Settings on Chrome OS).
  3. Click the Basics tab and find the "Default search" section.
  4. Select the search engine you want to use from the menu in that section. If the search engine you want to use doesn't appear in the menu, click Manage to open the Search Engines dialog. Select the search engine that you'd like to use, then click Make Default. If your search engine doesn't appear in this list either, you can add a new search engine option.
  5. Click Close when you're done.
