Open Live Writer able to post Photo to Google Blogger again after March 15

Since March 15 2019 – with the end of the Picasa API. The Open Live Writer cannot post photo to Google Blogger even you using the workaround version Open Live Writer (0.6.3)

Thanks for the developers of this software, they just release a new version recently and it able to post the photo to blogger again.

Download the latest version - https://ci.appveyor.com/project/dotnetfoundation/openlivewriter/builds/24488404/artifacts – download the “OpenLiveWriterSetup.exe”

Then, there are several steps need to do before you able to use it:

1. Change the “update.exe” to “update.exe.old”

2. Change the Open Live Writer application shortcut to C:\Users\<profile name>\AppData\Local\OpenLiveWriter\app-0.6.3\OpenLiveWriter.exe

3. Do the following step to re-grant the permission to the application:

1. Close Open Live Writer if it's open.
2. Open File Explorer. In the address bar, type “%appdata%\OpenLiveWriter\GoogleBloggerv3” and press enter.
3. Move (not copy) all of the files in this folder to a new folder somewhere else on your computer.
4. Attempt to publish a post with Open Live Writer. Upon clicking Publish, Open Live Writer should re-request permissions to your Blogger and Google Drive accounts. (It will pop up in your browser)
5. If everything is working smoothly, you should be able to safely delete the folder you made in step 3.

Resolve Lotus Notes 9.0.x cannot open picture or photo attachment directly issue on Windows 10 (1607)

Problem: When you open a photo/picture attachment in Lotus Notes email, you will receive a error message "It looks like you don't have permission to view this file. Check the permissions and try again."

Solution 1: (For user who never open the apps “Photo” before)

Step 1: Open the apps "Photo"

Step 2: Click "Find more"

Step 3: Select "C:\Users"

Step 4: Close

Solution 2:

Step 1: Open the apps "Photo"

Step 2: Click "Setting"

Step 3: Add "Add a folder"

Step 4: Select "Users"
