Huawei P20 Upgrade from 8.1 to Android 9

 My Huawei P20 running on Android 8.1 and the OTA show it is running the latest version.

In fact, you can upgrade to Android 9 via install Hisuite on your computer and use USB to connect to your phone "https://consumer.huawei.com/levant/support/hisuite/"

1. Install Hisuite
2. Connect your phone to computer and on your P20, you need to enter developer mode (By go to about > System, on top of the version number to click it several time. It will show you are developer now. Then, back to previous page on your phone, and enter the developer mode to enable USB debug
3. You will see a screen on your computer like the following:

5. The first update still 8.1 (Before this update, my version is 8.1.0.152)

   After that you can use OTA on your phone to upgrade to 9.0.0.197

Install OS on xfusion server (Former Huawei Server)

Huawei Firewall USG 6305 – Basic Setup and Upgrade Firmware

1. Set fixed IP on laptop (e.g. 192.168.0.2 /24) and connect to ETH 0/0 (Port 0)

2. Open browser access https://192.168.0.1:8443

3. Default login : Username: admin Password: Admin@123

4. Force change password

5. Follow the setup Wizard to complete the basic setup

Remark:

1. Download firmware (You need to register a free customer account by using the product SN or contract number)

For USG 6305, you need to use the mini one

2. After upgrade , delete the old one (To free up space)
