SATA/AHCI on Windows 10 laptop - Prevent event ID 129 issue (the entire system would hang, for 20-30 seconds and then recover)

Solution:

Method 1:

Go to Power Options, change it from from “Balanced” to “High Performance”

 

Method 2:

Go to Power Options, select change advanced power settings, modifying PCI Express > Link State Power Management > Off
