Torch 9800 missing TEXT MSG icon
1. On your homescreen, press the “Menu key” > select “SHOW ALL”, so that SHOW ALL is checked.
2. Highlight the TEXT MSG icon, press the Menu key uncheck the hide

Print Spooler service repeatedly close unexpectedly after print a PDF to a HP printer
If a Print Spooler service repeatedly close unexpectedly after print a PDF to a HP printer, you will receive a error in event viewer like the following:

Faulting application spoolsv.exe, version 5.1.2600.2180, faulting module zSR.DLL, version 6.20.1625.0, fault address 0x00024281.
Please try to use the following method to solve the problem.
1. net stop “spooler”
2. del /S /Q c:\windows\system32\Spool\Printers\*
3. net start “spooler”
If the problem have been repeatedly occur, please check the printer driver is it up-to-date and also the firmware of the printer is it up-to-date.

Permanently display Administrator account on Windows XP Welcome Screen
Adding administrator account on Welcome Screen.
Step 1: Go to start –> Run –> enter “regedit”
Step 2: Go to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList”
Step 3: Add REG_DWORD name “Adminstrator”, value is “1”
Step 4: Reboot or Logoff
After that you will see the original Administrator account on Welcome Screen
