The second insider build in this week, we are getting close to the Fall creator update (1709) release.

How to disconnect from vSwitch after the hyper-v feature have been uninstalled - Windows 10

Problem: The vSwitch still exist and the physical interface still connect to the vSwitch after the hyper-v feature have been removed on Windows 10 16273

Workaround: (Please run ipconfig /all >> C:\temp\IP.txt to backup the network config like IP address first)

1. Start by using the Get-NetAdapterBinding cmdlet to display the bindings for the specified interface:

PS C:\> Get-NetAdapterBinding -InterfaceAlias "Ethernet"

Remark: The "Ethernet" is the display name of the physical network connection (You can check it under "Control Panel" > "Network and Internet" > "Network Connections")

2.  PS C:\> Disable-NetAdapterBinding -Name "Ethernet" -ComponentID vms_pp

3. Reboot the machine

Windows Subsystem for Linux exit beta version now and also some change happens on 16257

The word (beta) have been removed on 16257

When you try to run the Windows Subsystem for Linux, it will show you need to go to Windows Store to download the Linux distribution first.

There are three distribution in Windows Store:

After the download complete, it will start the installation when you first time to launch it.

After the installation complete, you can run the "bash" command to run the Linux Shell or go to start menu to run the Linux Shell.

Lenovo X270 HDMI connect to Projector hang up issue

A Lenovo X270 laptop running on Windows 10 (1607) (14393.1358), when it connect the HDMI to projector. The machine will hang up.
