How to transfer Lotus notes 7.0 contact to MS outlook 2007 by using freeware

Step 1:

Go to “Address book”, you will see your contact list.

Step 2:

Click “File” -> “ Export”

Step 3:

Enter a “file name”, select “vCard 3.0” and then press “Export”

Step 4:

Select “All documents” and “All fields”, then press “OK”

Step 5:

Download the “Open Contacts” from the following link:

Step 6:

Unzip the oc6portable.zip and run the “Open Contacts.exe”

Step 7:

Click “Tools” import

Step 8:

Click “vCard”, select “Each file contains multiple vCards”, then click “import”

Step 9:

Select the file which is you export from Lotus notes:

Step 10:

You will see a screen the following and press “OK”

Press “Apply”

Step 12:

Press “Close” to exit the import

Select all the contact in the “People”

Step 14:

Select “Output” -> “export to vCard”

Step 15:

Find the location to save those file and press “OK”

Step 16:

Open MS Outlook and go to “Contacts”

Step 17:

Select all the “.vcf” files and “pull and drop” to the outlook contact

Step 18:

You will see a lot of pop up screen like this, just press “Save & close” to close all of them.

Step 19:

Finally, you will have been migrate all your contact from Lotus notes to MS outlook

WOL by PME

PME is Power Management Event

WOL is Wake Up on LAN

 

If you want to enable WOL from a Mainboard which is support WOL by PME, you need to go to BIOS -> Power -> APM Configuration –> “Power on by PCI/PCIE device” or “Power on by PME” or “Power on by LAN”

Remark:

APCI must be enable
APCI mode is S1 or S3 (APCI 1.0)
